The avatar enters the Artist's Studio and is given a paintbrush and a palette. In the room is a large blank canvas on an easel. The avatar is animated to 'paint' on the canvas, and as they do so the painting appears. During the painting the RL artist is heard via audio stream describing the history and emotions behind this painting. After the sequence is complete, the avatar receives an SL copy of the painting to keep.

In RL, an image of the painting is projected onto large white card on an easel. The audience take paintbrush and palette and 'traces' the painting onto the card, while listening to the audio stream. Similar to the SL experience, the audience can take their own painting home with them.

The painting that forms the center of this exhibition is painted by an elderly lady from North Carolina, who paints scenes from her childhood in Canada using either oils or watercolors. Her paintings are generally themed around children playing and often include herself and her two sisters.
